Kristin A. Farry –
Does a decent job of digging a 30” deep hole. The “standoff” bar to align the auger is a good idea poorly executed—it bent (at the location of a pin) as soon as the auger hit the clay hardpan layer we have here. The storage system is completely inadequate—the digger falls over. That’s a bummer because the storage supports were one of the reasons I chose this post hole digger. The attachments for the tube for the manual are junk, too. But otherwise it’s a solid digger, more expensive than many in its size class, but safety dictates that you don’t want a bargain-basement machine for digging holes.

The parking stand does not work well, the angle makes the pto shaft dig into the ground. It is very tippy and falls over often and is very awkward to get upright by yourself. Does a nice job digging holes happy with the unit, a better storage solution would be nice
